PORT
OF PLYMOUTH CANOE ASSOCIATION
The Port of Plymouth Canoeing Association
(PPCA) is an active kayak and canoe club with over
120 members. It is based at the Mount Batten Sailing &
Watersports Centre, Mount Batten in Plymouth, Devon on the
South-West Coast of England (UK) where it has good access
to excellent spots to paddle canoes and kayaks. The activities
of the PPCA are various including:
• Introductory Sessions
• Coaching (Training) of BCU 1,2,3 & 4 star awards
for Kayak
• Coaching for Open Canoe
• Sea Kayaking
• Surf Kayaking
• White water Paddling
• Recreation
• Rainbow Sessions for 9-12 Year Olds
• Having Fun On The Water (in Kayaks & Canoes)!!!
Thinking of trying a bit of canoeing?? Living in the Southwest
of England (Devon and Cornwall)?? The club runs Training/Introductory
Sessions throughout the summer.
The
PPCA was recently awarded second prize in the 'Sports Club
of the Year'
by the Central Council of Physical Recreation.
The PPCA is affiliated to the British Canoe Union (BCU)
