The Centre boasts 5 function rooms to suit a wide range of needs. We are Wireless Ready.

The Waterside Room our principal Function room has capacity for 100 people seated in theatre style or 80 people for dining. This room can also be divided into three separate areas and with direct access to the Waterside Terrace with views across the Cattewater and the Yacht Mariner, the combinations of use are endless. The terrace can be covered (marquee style) or left for open air occasions.

The Tower Room is situated on the top floor of the Centre and, with windows extending around over half of the room on its seaward side, offers panoramic views from the Cattewater to the City and Plymouth Hoe. This circular room can seat approximately 20 people and offers direct access to the Sunderland Terrace, ideal for corporate events and arguably the best view in Plymouth. The Sunderland Terrace commemorates the days when the Mount Batten Peninsular was used as an RAF flying boat base.

Exhibitions, Residential Conferences,Club meetings, social meetings, community based activities, christenings, birthday parties are just a few of the occasions which the Mount Batten Centre can make that little bit special.

The Isobar situated on the first floor leading into the bar lounge and out to the balcony all with stimulating views over the bustling River Plym and Cattewater. A full range of refreshments can be taken at the bar or served in any of the rooms as required.

The Common Room situated on the 2nd floor. Ideal as a breakout room with views over the Patio and Yacht Havens

WIRELESS INTERNET AND TODAYS CONFERENCE MARKET
Certain facilities are taken for granted theses days, from correct lighting and audio visual to refreshments and all manner of support materials. One service is becoming more and more in demand these days and that is to stay connected to the web. Not only are more conferences using “on-line” material but delegates require a “WiFi” connection as Wireless Internet connection is known. This allows users to connect to the Internet without network cables from any where within the conference facility and afterwards perhaps in the bar and lounge areas. Delegates are free to surf, collect and send e-mails or collaborate online with other users. Apart from the convenience “WiFi” is a public connection and we recommend you work behind a “Firewall”.Mount Battens “WiFi” system will be fully operational at the end of February 2006.
Conference organisers and individuals can order online time to suit their needs
please give us a call on 01752 404567
